Title: MK 15 Race & Shown N shine Is it possible

Just a quick question as this will be my first MK15.
I am just about to complete the build of my 83 OG Skyway TA race/dirt  bike.
All though its OG (two sets of wheels/tyres 1 show and 1 race) it will be a rider or should i say ridden and jumped.
I wanted to take part in the racing but also wanted to enter it for the rider/anything goes class (need to scuff up the skyway graphites and oakleys first as everything will be a bit minty lol).
Anyway the question is .....is this possible or will it be one or the other ?

the show and shine is generally judged while the racing is on

and if the bike isn't in the show tent it won't get judged

hmmmmm so
do i spend a fortune putting together a replica bell skyway helmet and almost give myself a heart attack...
or polish my bike ?
