I have got really poor balance, which has made it very difficult for me to try and do bmx tricks.
How come some people have got perfect balance and others don't. I have got a mate who can jump on a bike and wheelie off into the sunset. Where as I try it and I either flip it or drop the front down quickly.
Who's got good or bad balance and is there a way to improve it, or is just one of those things some lucky people are born with?

I'd like to think so , even at my age. 46 :(
Still pulling the wheelies and jumping ... I do a lot of mountain biking ... I think that helps .
Practice makes perfect ... :daumenhoch:

I am ok on a mountain bike and can ride bmx tracks with no problem, I just have no balance to do tricks, which I have always wanted to be able to do.

By that I mean....
The only time I ride nowadays is when I'm pissed with the boys  :daumenhoch:

Probably down to practice makes perfect. Also helps if you have always ridden and not had a long dry spell of no riding. :) Now-a-days I just like to roll around when I can. :)

My balance is shite too, down to me dodgy ears I think.
Always end up leaning to the left doing wheelies or jumps.

Practice is the answer Steve :daumenhoch:
Bring your new school to MK as the ramps are back again this year so you will be riding them with us >:D
-
If I get it finished I'll bring it, if not I can use the zippo, it's got sticky tyres now.
-
practice and speed, the faster you go the more the bike will want to stay straight or where you put it, scary but usually safer and considerably more fun :daumenhoch:
-
I can't wheelie to save my life, but reckon I could surf, if I was on a nice flat field. :-\

Lots of practice, good brakes help. When I try and relearn some tricks I can try the same trick for hours before I perfect it!
Good luck

riding a 20" is a lot different from 24"-26". got my first cruiser a few months ago and can't bunnyhop or manual it at all. some balance tricks can come naturally while others seem impossible. i can do a steamroller no problem but hang fives just seem so hard. this is probably the best hang five i,ve ever done.

I had a go on this at MK, I have been told it makes it easier to learn Hang 5s
