maybe ask the US guys over at vintagebmx. they have more springer knowledge.

looks like an early to mid seventies yamaha bmx,check out some bmx history on the net, if its an original it will be worth something, i like the mcplop quote ;D

the Grifter! couldn't have been any more bendy if it was made out of rubber :D

the built in handlebar pad
the racer forks
the 50kg back wheel
the twin downtubes

raleigh's marketing team saw what was going down in the states and just knew that they could go the one better

i thought the spot welded (soldered) frame was exceptional as were the cotter pin cranks!

them boys at raleigh certainly had the yanks beat ::) ;D
