Hi, I've just found the site and it's awesome. I thought I'd share my bike with you as I've done a search and a few people seem to have one, not sure if they have one, and no one seems to be able to confirm for definate. I picked this up from my parents 2 weeks ago now I think, and as soon as I saw it again I smiled like a fool! I've owned it for the last 29 years.

Yep, most of us would do anything to have our original bike - nice one :coolsmiley:
If only you'd found the site a little earlier you'd have been at the best weekend of the year at Milton Keynes with about 500+ fellow idiots :daumenhoch:

Thanks guys, the bike is in very good condition because my dad is / was a road racer and mechanic so he looked after it when I was younger and also taught me how to look after it, or rather forced me to look after it lol
That pic was taken pre strip down and polish. The pic doesn't show all the surface rust on the frame. It's been rebuilt now and I've replaced the BB bearings and head bearings, got some new tyres as the Kendas on it are at least 20 years old and cracked and split. I'm just waiting on a new chain as that is the original. I'm also waiting for Del to get back to me about replacement decals for it.
I hope to make MK16, the pics from this year look like it was a lot of fun.

Just an opinion but keep those original decals on it mate... They look great to me ... Nothing wrong with a bit of wear after all these years. You may regret stripping them at a later date.. Remember when they've gone they've gone forever dude.
:welcome to :radbmxsmilie: fella!
Cool bike by the way!
