Title: I Ate Jerry Galleys Burger @ MK
Post by: Dannywhac on August 24, 2015, 11:08 AM: No, not a euphemism. I genuinely (thanks to Ed's remarkable logistical skills - can' thank you enough) got to eat the burger of a UK bmx legend. Awestruck.

Saturday rolled round at MK and two of the finest UK bmx legends turned up at the ramps set up by Rob (also a legend), Alex Leech and Jerry Galley. All of them top people, got to sit and chat to them all.

Was a great day, and it's stuff like this that adds the icing on the cake that is MK (photo nicked off Alex):

Post by: ED209 on August 24, 2015, 05:06 PM: Middle of the afternoon I was stood with Rob who pointed at a guy walking past the marquees and Rob said 'that guy could be Gerry Galley' ... 'don't you think it is?' I said ... 'No way' said Rob 'theres no way he'd turn up here' ...

15 minutes later Rob and Gerry are chatting away ... soon to be joined by Alex ... and as the light faded they just kept talking. We sourced a fire bin and had our own little chilled area to circulate back to from the Dog & Duck.

Rob was on a high from then on ... no beer or drugs needed ... just the chance to have a good chat and the knowledge that a old buddy was doing well.
