Title: RAMPWORX LIVERPOOL OLDSCHOOL LOCK IN CANCELLED
Post by: Badbaldie on September 09, 2015, 05:38 PM: Rampworx Liverpool November Saturday 21st 7-10 Oldschool lock in. right guys need to get a minimum of 30 on this for it to happen but more the merrier . its £10 a head , bmx, skateboard and roller skate only NO SCOOTERS . if you interested please add your name to the thread and ill add it to the list. if we cant get 30 then it cant happen so.......... get your names down :'( .. if we can get the numbers then Rampworx will make this a regular night :daumenhoch:

Post by: Badbaldie on September 20, 2015, 11:26 PM: to be honest Paul is right. at one time 30 people wouldnt have been a struggle. but rampworx want £300 minimum. and with only 11 names , so that would work out £30 each. great park and a shame it couldnt happen. so think its best to find parks that will open for just 10 people. :-\

Post by: HARODAVE on September 21, 2015, 09:40 PM: we have had lock-ins at Ramp City in blackpool with about 6 or 7 of us turning up and they have still gone ahead , it may not be the best park in the world but it don't need many of us there to get the green light ...... didnt it used to be a 10 at a tenner each ? turned out to be about 15 for 6 or 7 of us for the entire place to ourselves......surely we can cobble those few together without the need for advertising it on several facebook groups??

Is boneyard in Chester worth a look?
I did a lock in at Deeside a few years back, just about made the numbers by dragging some mates along too ::) I hoped to make it regular but haven't been much use for organising anything the last couple years :crazy2:

Think Blackpool is a bit too out the way for most people, but Leyland was only a couple of minutes off the Motorway junction

It's really difficult getting anything over ten people to comit to a ramp night these days, just life gets in the way I suppose. We're lucky on my side of the hills that we have Doncaster, Sheffield, Mansfield, Nottz, Leicester and Melton Mobray with great parks that will take a private hire for sensible cash or do an open "oldies" evening, but I have to say now Jol (the Crow) is running Flo at Nottingham it is a very personal touch and it was great to be back there last weekend - just make sure you get the christmas Rad night in your diaries and make the trip east and down the M1 a bit :coolsmiley:

I've been to at least one of each of the northern ramp nights over the years and had a great laugh riding and helping others have a go (aka "grooming" as Ed calls it!) so I'd argue that if you get one that will take £100 for the hire and book it, you will get people turn up :daumenhoch:

Hopefully we will see you lads in Dec in the Nottz ghetto :buck2:
