Hi gents , anyone know if I can get a part to reattach the quick release lever on a mx1000 as I think I need to remove it to get the arms reannodised also where can I get new dx end caps ?
-
I think Porkchop does the small brake parts but you should be able to get a rivet for pennies.

Joe6187 who's a member on BMXmuseum does re-pop end caps AFAIK.

I can do the riveting when u get one .

I have ordered one but it looks like a pin and washer , so is there a hole in the pin to insert the rivet or is it a Big Bang with a hammer to flare it over ?
Also like a tit I ordered in haste on my phone and didn't notice the new quick release arms so I will need to have the old one fitted again

The Pin needs pressed in and then shaped afterwards... Animal and Sawzall do great jobs installing these!
Here's a set of MX1000 I had done by Sawzall.

I can check the crap in my shed to see if I have an OG pot of 1983 Dulux if you like. :D

I was at thinking more airfix , if you got some, clean the dust and cobwebs off before you drop it round !

I repainted then using a Sharpie Oil Paint Pen

and polished off the excess.

Jay @ Chameleon Anodising (anodiser_chick)
It wasn't a smooth process (they misplaced my bits for a while) but got it all back eventually
