Title: nickel plating

im getting me ride re nickel plated has anyone had one done recently they are charging me £80 frame forks post
is that about right i get me chrome done by a different chap even thou it goes though the same proses when they get chromed but my chap is of work.

Sounds about right:

I get quoted £120 for a show chrome f&f:

1st layer brass (polished) =£40
2nd layer nickel (polished) =£40
3rd layer Chrome (polished)=£40

So your nickel  f&f would be the first 2 layers =£80

I'm sure I got quoted £35 for nickel in Hull......Can check again next time I'm in that part of town. Next couple of days.....

i'm after having some bars nickel plated, does your man do them by post dan, could you ask him how much  :angel:
