I was lucky enough to get hold of (via the States) one of the few double drop out Bandito Cruisers left out there, serial #21. Chrome was tired, and a couple of battle scars.
Drop outs on frame and forks were firstly tided up. A small dent taken out. I wanted to do this one in the Bandito race colours, which are green and yellow. The next stage was Primer, then a coat of silver and custom emerald green to finish. The graphics and Bandito gunslinger have all been painted on, so no decals on this what so ever, just paint. Text done via stencils and some freehand on the images.
Looking forward to putting this together over time.
Here's how i bought the frame and forks only:

Nice paint job. Like the fact the graphics are hand painted too.

Thanks! Yeah, looking forward to putting it together. I think chrome and yellow is the way forward. I do have a Tuf neck power disc in the same emerald colour, so might use that with a chrome chain ring, or i have a chrome chain ring with yellow on the inside circle, so either one might work depending on the cranks. The only other things i have are a tuf neck polished clamp, and NOS yellow shotgun seat, so going to be a slow build!!!

Here's an update on the Bandito Race colour build, NOS inverted Tuf Neck stem, NOS OG cam grips, Cooks Bros polished cranks, Bandito cruiser bars, Ariake Jaguar aero seat (later made the shotgun seats for cycle pro)

Awesome! :4_17_5: and something different to boot! :daumenhoch:
-
Love the colour combo! :)
Don't know much about these, what's the story behind the 2 rear drop out locations.
-
Love it, the colour is perfect for this :4_17_5:

Cheers, happy with it so far! Yeah, the colour is beautiful close up. Custom emerald green.
The double drops on the frame and forks were so you could manually change the geometry of the frame. They were made at the CW factory and based on their race frame with a few differences in frame sizing, double drop outs, and extra brace on the bars.
