Post by: Taipan on October 23, 2015, 09:41 AM
Anybody else fed up with there continuous drip feeding on ebay of parts they just "came across in there boss's old warehouse?" Its wearing thin with me lol ......... there making a few quid on ebay granted including a recent tracer crank that went for nearly £100!   so why don't they just send some fecking employee of there's into the bloody warehouse for one day and pull all the bmx shit out they got! in one day!!

doesn't really concern me tbh just pee's me off with this line they spin all the time  ???  :)

It is a very tired forumla, and 98% of their NOS finds are just poop. By drip feeding they are controlling supply therefore making prices rise, even for their tat. If they dumped 200 Landar cranks onto the bay in one go, the prices would plummet, initial buyers would pay full price for the first 50 or so, then they would just sit there until they were forced to reduce them to below a market rate as the market itself has made them worthless

It's the same within the classic motorbike scene. Everything's a "barn find" or listed as "rare nos" when 70% of the time the parts can be ordered from a dealers at a lower cost. Shame it's not like that with bmx's

Skatepool are another that do it... every now and then they pull something half decent out the bag. Then when they get down to the last one or two they wallop the price right up as if it's the last one ever....  :bellend: 's
