Title: Fancied a change :-)
Post by: ED209 on November 02, 2015, 05:31 PM
I get bored with the same old bike so the Subrosa has been retired ... Lenny Lentini has it on perma-Loan.

So thanks to Len I now have a raw Proper 21" Trawlerman ... hoping to get it built up for a ride tonight.

Pics to follow  :daumenhoch:

yeah I did ... it was boring ... back on the Subrosa but with the benefit of all raw parts so it looks bangalangin

How did it feel compared to the Sabrosa?

Dull ... it was Jol's fault ... I was thinking of stripping the Subrosa and he came out with 'why waste your time on that frame get a decent frame ... get the Proper Trawlerman ... all the right angles for your riding'

Turns out all the fooking angles were almost exactly like the Subrosa  ::) so all I was doing was riding somthing that looked more boringer.

I was going to stick one on my Daughter's ride, might put a couple of LLP bands round the bars or something as backup  :daumenhoch:

Always liked these raw finish frames, but told the welds rust easily!

Is this true?

Raw frames will rust all over if it's not protected in any way. Most come with a clearcoat to slow it down  :daumenhoch:
