Title: Five months into my new job .
Post by: animal on November 27, 2015, 01:39 PM
Some of u may know after twenty years as a works manager for a CNUT . I lobbed it in to retrain as a tool maker . As an engineer anyway I had the skill set so my good old mate took me on .  I'm absolutely loving it . So much fun, learn so much and lots more to go . Never get treated or spoken to like an idiot like before . Money is brilliant aswell . No stress or pressure.  Loving it  :daumenhoch:

Excellent, so many people I talk to are doing jobs they hate, it's nice to hear someone is enjoying theirs!

You're a good'en Steve & you deserve it ....

Unfortunately I'm looking like I'm going to be packing up my business soon & going back in to something that I'll hate (but) it's all I know & a means to an end so I'm really happy it's working out for you buddy as I guess we can't all enjoy what we do..

I know what it's like & there's nothing worse than feeling (owned) by your employer, If I was employing people their wellbeing & happiness would definitely be my No1 priority & well (before) my customers, as i know if my staff were happy they'd be taking very good care of my customers for me...

Keep it up mate & I'll see you soon.  :daumenhoch: :Great_Britain:

Thanks guys  :4_17_5: had my Christmas do last week as my Boss/mate is having a big op . Curray then pub and taxi's.  Never put my hand in my pocket once, even though I offered . I'll try and get some pics of the work up . Just installed a three tonne tool in Brum the other day . Huge tool, press was 600 tonne
