As an og complete i can understand why it's fetching that sort of money. It's not my thing but you gotta admire for what it is. 8)
Part it out though and it's worth next to nowt... crackers. ???
-
Not for me as I have no connection with this make/model, but a rare item, especially in orginal condition and with the receipt etc. Someone will be made up with this :daumenhoch:

Maybe it was someone's dream bike back into day .. No everyone has the time energy or inclination to build bikes themselves like all of us ... It is a bit crazy but sourcing parts takes time and patience ..
I like it ... Even Jo's reflex cost more than this though to build .. Even with radsters help ... So not a crazy price .. Yet? Let's see the end bid ....

Wow £822.22  Only original once and where would you find another. Must be a collector who has bought it. :daumenhoch:
-
Iv got one of these. It was my first bike and still have to this day, one of the most comfy bikes I ever rode
-
That was a fantastic buy for someone. Hope it doesn't get split
-
Yup - mine is lovely to ride also. F&F's come up for next to nothing, but building a minter isn't cheap these days as we all know. An 'online BMX friend' of mine was actively hunting for one (his childhood bike) and he was smitten when I sent him the eBay link. Not sure whether he won it though.
-
I had a cheeky bid but it went out of my league, you don't find them in that condition..... ::)
-
Christmas also throws eBay prices up sky high at this time of year but it's a nice bike and someone's going to be dead chuffed with it :daumenhoch:

Prices, money, prices, money, more money, money...&...

I totally agree with you mate. Some of the parts are just too nice to have been original to the bike.
Did Kenda do coloured shopper tyres back then? I don't remember ever seeing them ???

Yes they did Terry, i had a set for a while bitd & have a well worn set now .... Been looking for 4 years & wanted that bike just for the tyres as they were much better condition than mine ... They came on lots of ammaco freestyle models as standard & Mason Smith also used them ( got a few images of his bikes sporting them . :daumenhoch:
-
The tyres even came with ammaco on them and if my memory serves me right, only came in blue and white :daumenhoch:
-
There's no reason why this couldn't be totally original. It mat have been just really well looked after by someone. :daumenhoch:
