Title: 1997 hoffman taj
Post by: Dodge-13 on December 16, 2015, 08:38 PM: Well after I finished the condor I wanted a taj to join the collection so after getting this survivor frame off Simon I got cracking on building it up

It's pretty much finished just in the process of sorting a more era correct wheel set for it

Post by: oldscool on December 17, 2015, 09:16 AM: Very nice, its so refreshing to see a bmx built that way. A good quality frame and fork set and a mix of aftermarket parts. Thats how most of our bikes evolved as you could afford the next cool part some of this seems to have been forgotten these days. ;)

Yeah all my other bikes ive done to Factory specs as they were well spec'd from factory and its rare to find them untouched
But the taj was different everyone built them up from a frame Using the best bits you could afford

Then i fitted a more era correct ripsaw sprocket and a hoffman girthy hub on araya super 7x wheel set and proper 90s primo tan wall v monsters

It'll be super similar to the new Barcodes so some of us are wondering if S&M might be making them and the new Big Daddy frames for HB like they are the new Low Drag 4.4 bars.
