Not sure mate , sure i have seen him in a few pics with that pet rabbit he got on FB over the last few days :-\
I think the collared versions came out in 83ish :daumenhoch:
-
They are gen 3 ish. Great hubs but never saw the 80s unfortunately.
BTW Mrs SG said it's not a rabbit. Evidently she's going to show me her rabbit later!
-
Be no good on a GT Nora Cup then. :teef:

:nickswan:
You could swap the nuts around the cones for 80s collars and they'd pass themselves off for earlier ones to theuneducated

They are that Ben. :daumenhoch:

So what year did the GT font change ?
-
The decals are not original to those hubs. They should have had the stretched GT logo on them. Looks like someone has tried to make these look like the 80's versions. The hubs you have are 92-94 (roughly) and bridged the gap between the race lace era hubs and the mohawks.
Nice hubs none the less, and the original bearings with blue seals used to spin for ages!
-
I have a set and yes they spin forever

Defeats the object if you're gonna lace em to Sun Levanters. :LolLolLolLol:

I gave up on finding some of these & got some bullseyes ordered instead. dib dobs if you ever sell the Gt's though Nick. Either Nick!
-
Hmmm... Bullseye hubs you say... :chin:

Dont bother with these. They are the same era but came on low end models like the Interceptor. Completely different hubs and they are horrible. Cheap nasty stuff that never spin smooth no mater how well you service them. I dont even think the ball bearings or cones in them were round. :LolLolLolLol:

:LolLolLolLol: One you lace them up you will soon wish you hadn't. They really are the most disappointing hubs I have ever come across.
