Title: Hi there
Post by: barbeluk1 on January 26, 2016, 04:36 PM
Hi there,

I've just joined up after having a sudden rush of BMX nostalgia!

It started recently when I decided to do up the mid skool Dyno Comp that was rusting in my garage. It's going to my 8 year old in a month for his birthday. It's cleaned up a treat and now has some new Skyways on it :)

I've just bought  myself a Super Burner frame from ebay (this was my first bike) so am going to build that. Expect a lot of questions in the coming weeks...

Cheers,

Andy

Thanks for the welcome chaps  :)

I really wanted a Rickman Freestyler frame but saw the Burner frame and thought it would be cool to recreate my old bike. Rickman/Skyway/DP can be the next project (depending on how this one goes...

Here's before and after shots of the Dyno (Dyno now has some ODI Mushrooms and needs new pedals!).

Now move those bars !  :P 8) ;)

it's all part of the banter and usually helpful advice ( we're generally a caring bunch  :daumenhoch: )

No offence taken, I was expecting it to be honest  ;D

I'm just surprised that no one noticed the chain guard on the before photo. I almost Photoshopped it out before posting!  :-[

Cheers, Andy
