Post by: McQUEEN on March 11, 2016, 04:56 PM
Its a pussy question really - how do I get these reflectors off without scratching the paint?

Good question ... I've just got some NOS gold ones and have the same dilemma ... I'm guessing a very tiny screwdriver and patience!

Any other ideas?

Yeah,I'd try very carefully to  pry them off with a flat-head screwdriver. More importantly... what are you gonna do with the reflectors once you've got them off?  ;D  I've a good home for them if they're never going to be used.  ;)

I'd maybe use something plastic or wooden to push out the fasteners from the back rather than risking it. You might even be able to do it by hand if you can squeeze and push them out.
