So how many radsters are on the list for the new Curtis pro? What are people's thoughts on these especially owners of original framesets?
-
Didn't even know they were making them ???
-
What's the deal? Same as the originals?
-
Limited run of 30 with a choice of top tube lengths with bars and seat post. All spoken for though.

Very nice. Lovely welds. :coolsmiley:
-
That's nice, did somebody say they've all been sold, if so where were they advertised as I can't find out anything about them.
-
I came across it a few days back on Facebook. 30 are going to be made this year but are all spoken for.
-
aarrgghh Facebook that's why I couldn't find anything :daumenhoch:
-
They were first advertised via the a Facebook group Facebook site last December
-
Another reason I should sign up to Facebook!, but I'm still trying to hold out strong lol

Stay strong dude! :daumenhoch:

Yeah, don't give in to it!! I've been fighting the good fight for years now! :daumenhoch:
Back to the Curtis, thanks for posting the pics Chris! Looks like a nice piece of work. What's the geometry?
-
Yeah looks lovely doesn't it. Same geometry as the original I think but with a a choice of 19,20, or 21 inch top tubes. Comes with a choice of drilled or undrilled forks, straight or lay back post, a set of pro bars and a choice of the original style dropouts or 3 sided boxed in dropouts.
Comes raw finished. Price £650. Apparently Brian retires this year so these are going to be the last frames made by him. If I'd known about these back in December id have definitely put my name down for one.
-
Would love one of his MTB frames

Nowt wrong with Facebook. Some good groups on there, loads of stuff for sale, easy to upload pictures, and in my experience plenty of decent lads. Agreed not as much info as you can get on a forum and some threads can easily be missed but seems to be the preferred platform for most people at the minute. Don't knock it till you've tried it.

there's a lot of fooking w@nk and shyte as well :daumenhoch:

Sadly I can speak from experience now ... ::)Totally agree Rob ! :daumenhoch:
-
I'm afraid so Ant, I left all the groups other than Rad and the Skyway one as I get fed up with it all
-
Agreed there is some shite on there but unfortunately these days I can spend 10 minutes on a night reading any unread posts on here from the previous day, where I used to be able to spend hours on here trawling through all the new threads. Sadly it seems like Facebook is the preferred place to post these days especially for buying and selling.
