Title: Welding the ends back on some bars ?

Who can do this kind of thing for me ?

I want strong and not ridged , an insert or some thing ? but finnish not important as grips will be there LOL

i reckon get some bar the same od and get it welded back on the ends ittl be well strong enough (as long as its jus an inch or so )

shouldn't be difficult, just need a welder rich. and some 22-22.2mm bar, got some shitty bars to chop up? or a seat post?

the best way would be make up an internal shim about 2" slide 1" in to bar leaving an inch exposed then slide extension on to this, when the two pieces meet leave a gap about the thickness of bars to allow weld to penetrate this would be a really strong repair with either mig or tig,i can do them for you with mig  if you cant find anyone to do them :daumenhoch:

if the bars are cro mo yer realy need to use tig , it wont b a problem to get done any engeneering place should do it for yer cheep
