Title: Welding aluminum frame, race inc seat clamp split
Post by: Ringo starfish on May 08, 2016, 07:32 AM
Anyone out there had a aluminum frame repaired
I've been offered s race inc frame with a split around the seat clamp area and don't want to commit until I know it's repairable , it will never be a show piece but it's a shame to see a classic go to waste !, help my brothers ! Who does it ,where and will it be strong enough ?

On here have a word with Sawzall, but he's near Southampton and you don't say where you are...

Good news is that it could be repairable.

Shouldn't be a problem. Check out Denzil's Cycle Pro resto... there's a few pics missing but you get the idea.  :daumenhoch:
