Post by: deeman on May 11, 2016, 11:21 PM: Just a suggestion but I reckon BOTM would be better if it were split into 2 categories Race and Freestyle. I only usually vote for freestylers as I usually vote for the bikes I would like to own/ride but I also appreciate race bikes and can recognise a good race build when I see one.I think this would take away any race/freestyle bias from the mix and make for a much fairer contest.
Anyone else agree or am I talking rubbish??!! :idiot2:

I think is not a bad idea in theory, but I don't think we get enough entries per month to justify splitting them into categories. At least with 3 votes each, you can always vote for one (or more) of each

Then the category split is easier to put into practice.
Just out of interest, if this is not a secret...is the voting of 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice similar to a particular amount points like 10pts, 8 pts. 5pts. ?

Aha, so this could only be done if every vote would be visible like Bike-A 10pts and so on, I guess.?.
