Hi all,
At the moment I ride a Cannondale Hooligan (google it lol)but am not sure if its for me or not and looking to get another bmx. Theres no mountains in Somerset so I dont need anything with a million gears hanging off of it. The Hooligan is fairly simple but Im not sure if I 'get it' or not.
Im 6'2" and probably a bit overweight and am after advice regarding a cruiser for, well, cruising!
I like old school stuff so originally thought about something made by SE but there doesnt seem to be much out at the moment?
Then I spotted the Fairdale Taj 26" which has a few os features but then thought, why bother with the os stuff, what about something up to date like a Subrosa Malum 26"?
Now Im looking at the 2016 raw Sunday Model C 24" but it may be a bit small for my needs? Does look good though.
Its only for cruising areound with my 2 girls and the mrs on their dutch style lady bikes so also need to be able to raise the seat a bit really.
Any advice please guys?
Cheers,
Rob

SE have some new models coming out soon,if you want a good oldschool cruiser with good build quality I would go for one.
I just bought a 26 inch Ripper off of a member on here and I love it,it's a great bike.
I have changed one or two parts but that was only me being fussy, they are plenty good enough out the box.

Posted on your wanted add. Unless you plan cycling for 20 miles (in which case get something with gears!) then consider a 22" wheel bmx. They handle and respond like a newschool 20" but look better scaled as you are tall.
Riding a track on one is brilliant and you can also ride a skatepark if you so want to :coolsmiley:

SE 29" if you just wanna roll, 24" cruisers just ain't comfortable unless your a Spen, but I do like the 26" ripper but seem to be hard to find

I've got a 26" OM Flyer and I love it.

A mate of mine has a barely used 26" Big Ripper that he's thinking of selling. PM me if you're interested and I'll see if he still wants to sell it.
