Thanks Si :daumenhoch: this is perhaps one of the better addictions I can think of if not one of the more costly looking at some of the rides on hear proper Eye candy "wantit". Chez

Welcome aboard mate. Be sure to say goodbye to all other interests and possibly your savings!!
-
:daumenhoch: Thanks Chris  I have nothing but respect for you guys and hope that what I build comes close to some of the art work I have seen so far. I you are right I am stuffed as have an addictive personality as it is :'( thanks for the great :welcome Chez

I think it's great to have all the parts ready to go. :) Nice collection so far. :daumenhoch:

:daumenhoch: Thanks BMX1973. Question: should I use the original Aero forks or use the Tange ARX I have bought or save them for another build :-\
-
Good to see another build thread on here again. What frame is it mate Tange?
-
:( afraid not, that is what I thought when I bought it but after doing some research I cam to the conclusion that it is a Akisu A-Pro. I do have the original forks but a weld on one of the dropouts has a blow out on it so have purchased some tange ARX that I might fit instead not sure yet :-\ Chez
-
:) last few bits and yes for those amongst you that are observant I have bought another pair of blue grips :idiot2: I am sure the others will come in :daumenhoch: frame going off to be re chromed next week will post pic's once I have it back. Chez
-
......I'd try the ARX forks - but i just happen to really like those, way cool dem forks :D Do You really have to rechrome the frame? Looks fine on the pic.
Akisu made Tange ..... you live and learn 8)
-
Sweet thanks for advise on the forks I will go with the ARX as like you say they are just so dam cool 8) frame has lots of scratches on it on the head and top tube as though someone has sanded it at some point and not sure it will polish out :-\ Chez
-
don't see these Tange/Akisu frame based builds too often, great project for a first bike in my opinion, not that easy, because it forces you have to develop your own idea of what it will be and kind of what a straight bmx is about ....... off to the chromer :2gunsfiring_v1:
-
I see you gone use Some very nice parts on iT, i like this one.
Imo better to repair THE Forks and use that one , only for THE right set up.
But THE ARX are also cool forks....
THE seatpost is that a pro neck ?
Cheers Patric
-
Shame to split an original F&F, but that's a nice new fork. How bad is the one that came with it?
Look forward to seeing it all come together :daumenhoch:
-
:daumenhoch:Thanks Guys, the original forks not too bad see pic's as for the seat post no its a Renthal that has been polished and a tuf-neck sticker added by original owner. Thanks guys better get my finger out and give you guys something to look at. Chez
-
Its all the help and support that makes :radbmxsmilie: so Great :4_17_5: thanks again Guys fistblump Chez
-
Stick the og forks on it... save the ARX for your next build. :daumenhoch:
