So this turned up on ebay, I tried to buy it cash and the seller wouldn't because it because it had bids. I stuck a bid in on the Wednesday as on the Friday when it ended I would be hanging out with Eddie Fiola :) . Whilst in the smallest pub on the planet ( Cleethorpes) my friend asked how did the streak do as he couldn't find it on ebay. When I logged in it said please pay for your item !!!!! I had won it for less than my offer :)
The story goes like this that the bike was from a house/garage clearance. The bike was at an elderly couples house and it was their grandsons for when he came to visit. It was retired to the back of the garage with a cover over it and not touched for many years.
I'm giving it a full clean up, no rechrome ( it doesn't need it ) no replating just a good clean and source the missing parts. It may end up with NOS but that's not my intention, just what ever turns up that's very clean. I expect the pads will be remade as I'm not paying 300 pounds for real lol
Just to add if anyone has the missing parts please get in touch..............seat,seatpost,grips,stem,padset and possibly pedals.

Thanks mate, how weird that you replied to this as I was replying to your topic !!!! I like the bit about 2 tone Araya as I have some that I called shiney sides !!! They were nos before building, I'm making these the same or as best as I can.

Decided to strip the paint off the seat clamp and stem to see the condition underneath. I could then decide what to do with them, I got a pleasant surprise !!!
