Title: Chain split link
Post by: chrisv39 on August 25, 2016, 07:15 PM
Probably a bit of a daft question this one but does a split link on a chain need to go on in certain direction or inside or outside of the chain? Just wondered if the torque on the chain when pedalling made a difference to the split link.

The spilt section should be the rear of the link yhe round section should be the front as it goes around the chainwheel.
I hope that helps fistblump
