Hi all, been about 6 years since I had had to sell my 3 complete haros :-[ just started looking again...what's happened to the prices!!!!!! I was looking for a Haro sport 85/6 cause that's the one I never had but always wanted, just looked in the sale section at one but unfortunately I don't have that sort of money anymore..
What does anyone think of the re-issue ones? Any good? I saw a couple on Alan's bmx site that look ok..what do you think?
Cheers Paul
My username used to be either dubber or dubber657 all those years ago, I wish I never left!

I like them, but you're just not going to get that 80's buzz from them.
I've got a 2014 dominguez sport, its better made than the originals, the welds are lovely, it rides nice, but I know its not the real thing.
Just my opinion though. Others may disagree

I'm not a Haro fan at all but would agree with what Jay's said :daumenhoch:

Yer I get what your saying, just think the real deal are gonna be out of my reach.. :-\

I paid £400 for an 85 sport f and f off ebay not long ago...I believe that's what the reissues are going for?
-
Up until recently I had a 86 sport [dressed as a 87FST] up for grabs, wouldve taken £375 for it

was probably un-signed as well so worth even more! ;D

Exactly what Jaymz and Pickle say :daumenhoch:. Be patient and get an original for a little bit more money .. That will turn up .. Yes you'll like your re-issue at first but you'll always know it's not quite the real deal...
By then you will be back to square one and still after an original one :-\
Many of us have been here so ...If you can always go OG over repop! 8)

With any reissue part, it all depends on a few things:
Can you afford the OG part?
Are there loads of OG parts about?
Do you really care if it's OG or reissue?
Do you really care if others care?
If it's No to all of these, then do as I do, go straight to Alan's website and fill your boots.
For me, and my bikes, it's all about the nostalgia that they create, just by looking at them, not if its been stamped with the correct date. :daumenhoch:

I like the reproduction ones. Brings in a new audience. :)

Been talking to a mate tonite who I knew used to have old school bikes and he says he has an 84 white master and a 83 gen 2 chrome frame/forks for both..torker made and a mini goose, lil ripper and a kuwahara, I'm hoping to look at them this weekend, I know he's not short of ££ so they won't be going cheap🙄
