Title: SE Freestyle Quadrangle standing platform

Yo!

Does anyone know much about how the platforms for the 84/85 Quadrangle Freestyler came new? I've just scored a painted one, getting ready to strip it, and it looks like a bare alloy below. Were they ever anodised?

Ive also seen one or two with grip tops - was this standard?

I've seen OG ones anodised. The only ones I've seen were red and black. I'm sure there were other colours too. Probably no help but I found this in my MK2014 folder in photobucket looks powdered:

I can remember them being shown in an issue of BMX Action bike. I'll see if I can dig through the PDF copies I've got to see if I can find it.

Thanks. I think they most probably came anodised. I think powered come with age (or resto!!)
