Hi all,
I have a US made pre serial/western font stamped brake bridge Hutch pro racer frame, however the frame does NOT have the drain holes in the rear dropouts, any experts out there who can enlighten me about this feature (or lack of it)
Cheers

This site/page might be of use http://www.hutchbmx.be/identification.html
There are quite a few oddities within the Hutch range. My pro racer had characteristics of both us and taiwanese frames

Thanks, but have already read that site about 40 times :-)
Just wanted to know if anyone else knew of NO vent holes on rear drop outs

think you mean either vent holes on the frame or dropouts with or without a hole .?
I have no idea about why/when the vent hole is missing.
But the dropout variation seems to be due to certain arbitrariness in Hutch production in combination with the use of "leftover dropouts" from Japan or something like that (http://www.vintagebmx.com/community/lofiversion/index.php/t22000077.html http://bmxmuseum.com/forums/viewtopic.php?id=31244 http://www.bmxsociety.com/topic/23168-hutch-pro-racer-id/) - or in the words of 4130_nasa: "Huh, so they probably pulled together as much material left to start making frames again. Under the Hutchins name."
....so maybe yours is a Hutchins Pro Racer like the one in post#12 in the museum link probably is?
