Got some Sr mp-132 pedals on A Db I bought recently.
Although the pedals were in not bad condition, the cages were twisted and bent as usual.
I didn't want to do a full resto on them, just get the cages back into nice shape.
After a few seconds of thinking, I came up with a solution which I thought would work.
A tool was made for the job.
one of the cages before.............

Job's a good 'un! :) Now could you make one for my bent Suntour XC cages?? :daumenhoch:
-
Could possibly make something for xc2's etc, that's a thought!

Top bombing they look spot on but how did you reshape them?
-
you can see in the photo one half of the tool bolted to the cage, the other part is shaped like the pedal end.
The other bit is placed inside the cage end and a wedge is forced between them forming the end back to shape, see below.

Cheers guys, think this could be adapted for riveted on cages, or indeed different style cages.
Think aluminium cages may be a bit more tricky, and need heat before reforming, ally could crack and break if worked cold.

Great bodging
