i am looking out for a pair of top quality race wheels from bitd whats the best to look out for chrome i want not skinny wheels and best place to get them from.dan.

I guess the classics are Araya 7X on some decent sealed hubs. Suzue are pretty easy to find. I like the later 80s GT Mohawk hubs too but BITD I always had Shimano DX open bearing ones that spun well, even if I spent ages cleaning them out.
Right, who's going to be first to step up and say that only Hutch hubs will do?

As above , 7X or Ukai . 7X were a bit stronger than Ukai , both look good :daumenhoch: . Araya 7B are very cool but a little earlier , bit more expensive :D .
Hubs - From around £40 - £500
GT low flange sealed with the hollow axles & alloy allen bolt collars .
Suzue Sealed
Bullseye
SST
MXR
Suntour sealed
Matt
