Title: Andy Lennon...Ride In Peace

Got some terrible news off Bof earlier, Andy left us on Friday after a heart attack. Obviously thoughts are with his family.

If you had the pleasure of meeting, spending time with, racing against or just having a beer with Andy you will know that he was one of the nicest, down to earth, most genuine people you could meet. He was around BMX all his life, there are a few members that raced with/against Andy in the 80's and in recent times at the odd old school race. When he wasn't racing he was helping out at races and was a familiar face at North region and National events and he had one of the most infectious laugh's I have ever heard, it sounded even better from inside a helmet mid race.....

What ever is in it, raise your glass or cup to a thoroughly nice bloke that was as bmx as it gets.

Andy is 2nd from left proudly wearing his Burner shirt at Preston OS grands a few years ago.
