Picked up recently as I wanted to build something different
ACS rims and hubs (being respoked)
Profile crankset and black kneesaver bars are the only things I'm changing from the stock parts I received (for now)

Dv8?

Dv8?
Correct!
Limited production years (probably due to the fact they were prone to snapping). 1993-1994 production only as I understand it.
Del is doing the custom decals (a challenge as there's really limited information out there)
Decided I'm adding yellow or red seat and grips in addition to the bars and crankset up changes I've made
ACS Z mags would look great on this but the original ACS hubs and rims were too good not to save and respoke
More pictures to follow

Funny is definately the word I would use to describe this as well :LolLolLolLol:

Build update only waiting on bars and wheels to finish up
-
Kinda like it, certainly a bit different!
Yellow seat looks better matching with the graphics. What bars are you going for?

I've gone with black mid school Kneesavers (not sure of brand) as I was seeing this as flatland type build. Im going to add either yellow or red AME grips Ive got available and Haro pegs allround
The original ACS silver hubs and rims are being respoked with black spokes and nipples and Ive got some lovely mid school black gumwall tyres but now im not 100% sure as there is so much colour going on I might go with a coloured (red or yellow) gumwall to make it even more crazier

... there is so much colour going on I might go with a coloured (red or yellow) gumwall to make it even more crazier
no "nono"

Well Ed has made my mind up I'm sticking with the gumwalls. You never can tell whether a tyre looks right until fitted to the wheels

Finished and handed over to the oldest son

I would even dare to say this is quite rare (not good or valuable) but rare in the sense that there's only 8 others on the Museum. Most important thing is that the son loves it and has handed back my Aero Reflex!!!

Its a Selle Royal! Actually the eldest said "Dad can I have a comfy seat on this one for a change!" and this was bright (and very cheap)

Take no notice of Ed, he likes frames that look like pregnant fish :LolLolLolLol:
