ok thinking of havin a go at next race at hersden , the tyers on my dyno are well err little skiny only 1.75 some dodgy make called v rubber , iv got a 2.00 maxxis maxdaddy lyin about or could rob the maxxis holly roller off the front of my mongoose but thats real wide 2.20 but grips great , so in your vast experiance what will work best
-
2.20 on the front, 1.9 on the back.
-
ok so will hollyroller work ok or do i go for more knoberly maxdaddy
-
hollyrollers are fine I've used them before and never had any trouble. I've got a maxxdaddy on the front that everyone calls a monster truck tyre but i like it. I've got a dirt monster on the back and that grips well on any surface. Basicly I ride what ever I get given or pick up dead cheap.
I agree with meddle on sizes. But its pressures that make the most difference. I ran 80 psi at Chesterfield national, makes your wrists and ankles ache, but you go like stink.

I run a 20x1.75 on the rear and a 20x1.95 on the front. Seems just about right for me.

ok ta for that , i can see me getin another roller to save robbin the other one , will try the maxxdaddy on the rear ;)will prob b eatin dirt anyway :D
