Title: Old school seats on new school bikes
Post by: paulb113 on December 03, 2016, 02:54 PM
Who runs an old school seat on a new school bike? And how have you done it. I Have seen the pivotal posts that have a adaptor on to fit onto railed seats etc. Thanks

So are mid posts 25.4? Chrome laybacks?

not all were, 1 inch posts started being used again when frames got tougher, using bigger tube sets ,  hence the mid ref,

i have got an 80's frame with a 1" chrome layback in it.

I've got a railed saddle/post on my NS bike, can't stand pivotal saddles (not keen on having that little orifice bang in the middle of it)
