Title: Has Anyone bought off this guy called dynolove
Post by: Ady on December 05, 2016, 06:08 PM
Has anyone bought or had any bad experience with this seller?
He has a few nice bits on his site .
I offered him a price on a part and he said he can post as a gift with any amount so save the dreaded import fees. :2gunsfiring_v1:
He said to pay via gift $100. (£78 uk)
I have done this many times but just asking before I take the plunge.. fistblump

The bloody exchange rate is shocking too.. :knuppel2:

I ain't a clue who he is but I've seen a similar cook bros complete on bmxmuseum and it's also the same price he was asking so I'm just presuming it's the same bloke as from memory it looks the same pic.

If it is the same chap his bmxmuseum account has hardly any feedback. I'm not saying that's good or bad just saying what I know.

I can't find the bloody museum sale ad now no matter what I search  >:(

I bought a F&F from him about 3 years ago. It was advertised on the museum but I went through eBay as it offered me a bit of extra protection.

Arrived fairly well packaged and prompt and was probably a bit better condition than I expected so no complaints from me.

Regardless of whether others have had ok dealings with him or not, if you don't know the guy personally you're taking a risk using gift payment - if it goes tits up then you have no recourse at all. Did he give you the option of paying the fees on your side?

If you think the risk is worth whatever you're paying then of course that's your shout - on the very rare occasion I've bought stuff from the US (bmxmuseum) I have done that and paid via gift after checking out profiles/history etc. Had no issues myself but didn't stop me getting that horrible gnawing feeling wondering if it was going to turn up or not.

I wouldn't entertain any ebay purchase without buyer protection.

Yes, I agree with Griff. Which was the reason I went through ebay instead of the Museum as he had no feedback there. I managed to avoid any import charges but I think that was more chance than anything else.

No I ain't a clue

The only reason why I think it's the same bloke is purely that the chap on the museum had a cook bros bmx at exactly for the same price and the pic looked similar from memory.

I do remember for sure that his museum feedback score is extremely low

I bought some GT pegs from dynolove this year and I was very pleased with his service. He helped with the customs declaration and the pegs arrived safely.
And yes I believe it's the same person on BMXMuseum.

Hope that helps,
Rich.

He's a top bloke

Well quick update..
Bought the item off him off the museum was going to send me the tracking info later.
He was packing it up and he noticed a few hair line cracks when he scraped away under the hand painted parts of the rim.
He post some pics off the issues and I decided for a refund which he did in full.
So as Nick quote top bloke.
I said thank you for you honestly point this out and he said if one pops up he will drop me a message.
So there are some decent peps out there.. :daumenhoch:
