Title: When did renthal bars start being used for bmx ?

So 2017, new builds to consider ,mk17 to look forward to and better weather hopefully !,
This years build - parts I never owned/wanted  is the theme , starting with renthal bars . I'm sure my school mate had some around the same time as the first CW bars come out (82ish) He was bang into his moto cross and was one of those kids who seem to get stuff before it was in the shops .
So can anyone put a date to the launch of renthal bars ?cheers Nige

82, they were listed in the Uk Mongoose catalog (March 1st 1982) :daumenhoch:

....and before you all take the p*ss, those bars came with the Oakley sticker. It was fate!!!!  ;D
