Inspired by the rad book thread I asked mum if she'd any pics of my first bike, turns out she had a few. This would have been bought around 82ish & the last piccys are deffo summer 84 before I got the vinny that Xmas. Originally thought it came from the catalogue, mum now thinks we got it from the local place on the outskirts of Blackpool.
First pic ( unfortunately the worst quality) is as it came before the freestyler in me messed with it. From memory it came with weiman brakes, wheels, them nice cobra grips & yellow comp 3 type tyres. The decals can just be seen with a magnifying glass but can't make fook all out(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170222/5fca8b46ca75d31866b1ffb6d0b68f70.jpg)

Took ages that Ant, it's actually up against my school wall in the bus stop. We used to keep it under the ports cabin class rooms just over the wall...

Amazing photos Rich. They'll look great in the book. I see what you mean about your bike being a bit Falcon Pro like. Sorry i don't know what it is, but someone must be able to identify it from those pics :)
I also love that on the ramp, the word RAD is there. How rad is that?!

Did chuckle when I spotted that Andy, just found this on my phone too. The poor old blue thing obviously donated some parts (https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20170222/21f7a47101772a681beae952f8eaa538.jpg)

Was at the forefront of the madchester scene with that hair, shame it was a few years too early
From memory it did have pads, yellow with bmx in big letters on them.
