Title: GT headset????

Hi,

I have me one of the mid school Pro Performers (the bendy banana ones) that's on permanent loan to my son, The headset is not right at all and I can't for the life of me find one to fit, nothing I have in my box of parts seems to fit properly. Any ideas what size/type I should be looking for?

It'll either be a 1" threaded or 1 1/8th non threaded surely?  ???

My guess is maybe it's a 1 1/8th if all the ones you have don't fit??

It's 1" 1/8 but all the ones that size (which mainly come from MTBs) that I have don't seem big enough, once tightened it rocks around. The cups look the same size, the races look the same, just cant put my finger on why it's not fitting. I'll find a photo

You haven't done something daft like forgetting to put the expansion ring back in have you?!
