Hi All.
I just joined to pick your brains about a couple of bikes that I have. I have no idea about BMX bikes at all,so found all of you in a search.
I have a small welding and fabrication shop near Chester, and make all kinds of things out of metal. One of the things I make are scooters out of old cycles. These were found along the way,but they look far to good to chop up.
The chrome one is complete and original by the looks of it,but in a sorry state. The black frame is a GT and that's about all I know about it.
Any ideas anyone?
Cheers muchly
Vern

I Vern, welcome to fistblump
I know nothing about your bikes so cut 'em up I say. :D
Whereabouts near Chester are you? I'm in Deeside and looking at having some work done on a BMX frame I have bought off here.

Down the A41 towards Whitchurch in Milton Green. What do you need doing?

I know it, near the Tattenhall junction where Carr & Griffiths is.
I have a DB Venom (pic borrowed off dancetothebummersmeat, cheers Andy). I want the cable guides cutting off and smoothing and the little diamonds on the fork and rear dropouts and frame gusset filling in. Is it a tricky job mate?

Looks like the chrome will clean up nice, looking at the serial number area.
