Title: 1999 GT Interceptor Build

Decided to Tidy this thread up a bit
Came as a mish mash of parts with no decals.
99' GT Interceptor og chrome.
Original GT wheel set with ACS claw.
Original izumi chain.
Original profile cranks and welgo peds
Unknown og seat post.
Original redneck stem.
New/spare parts fitted-
Tioga comp 3s
NOS LG forks
Mirage bars
Ame duals
Se saddle
Dia compe v brake and Odyssey lever
New decals by Del.

The pics were just after the build , ill get some better ones @ weekend , the saddles been kicked back  a bit now & I have a better 'v' brake to fit to it.

Well it looks like a 95 but the earlier models were stamped on the rear dropout accompanied with a P, a PE or a PE XL. What the tt on it ?

Not sure don't think its very long actually , will have to check tonight.


Facefook people think its more 98 pro series?

It runs a V brake so think 95 is too early , although the frame number on BB is confusing

Found some INFO on the museum .
"S8IY14150  S for the factory. 8 for the year 1998. I for the 9th month Sept. Y for the production line."

I think by that its a june '99 ,possibly a interceptor
