Title: Is it silly season on prices?
Post by: MartyC on September 06, 2017, 02:43 PM
So, lately I've noticed on the Radbmx Facebook page some items for sale that beggar belief price wise; have we entered the silly season or the twilight zone?

But at the same time there have been some bargains, Ian Mc's complete's for example.

I know what you mean Mart, it's standard on FB though, sellers base their prices on what things are selling for on eBay, it's nothing new though really.

Some ridiculous prices for some average pieces that I have never seen on ebay at those prices!

Dan is right, many bargains there too. But speaking of silly prices, my personal favorit in August: Tioga pool tyres (not even green/blue label) with a genrous price drop from 375,- to 350,-  ::)

I don't do FB but have noticed the same thing over on the Museum. Some crazy aka speculative prices for some stuff but thankfully still some bargains to be had. :daumenhoch:
