Title: Ebay sale - Mongoose Supergoose 1981
Post by: GT Two on October 16, 2017, 06:14 PM
Is this a members bike?

It looks lovely.

Part of me is very tempted and part of me would enjoy building a bike from bits.

I know not on original forks but apart from that has anyone else got any observations for a newbie. Does it look good value?

Thanks!

Don't know told it's a members bike but there are plenty of 'Geese f&f's out there for sensible money :daumenhoch:

£750 is top money for that bike to be honest and you'lyou'll always be changing stuff on it..... :-\

Not entirely sure it's a supergoose either as there's no pic of the rear seat stay at the dropout end.  A supergoose will have a flattened part of about 50mm.

Also I'm sure the supergoose with these rear dropouts came in nickel only which is the step before chrome.

It's a long time since I've has a mongoose so check out this link as it'll help you loads
