Title: noisey seatpost why

i am using a chrome (steel ) layback stem  it bolts on tight and does not move but if i put pressure on the seat it creaks anyone else had this?

its probablly the plastic in the seat making the noise if its an old seat ... if its not that the guts of the seat probablly arent done up correctlly

Thats it then  . Lose weight and the noise should get less and less until you become normal and then there will be no noise just like everybody elses.

sorry guys im a bean at 10 stone if it was my missus bike she would never come back to this forum again lol ;D
going to try the seat bracket but i think its stress on the frame :shocked:

laybacks murder frames

every time you sit down you are levering the seat tube / bit where the seat stays+tube join it

Take your seat off and jam the post up your ass......... :shocked: it works for me
