Title: 1983 Kuwahara Nova number 2.
Post by: Gra_goose on March 04, 2018, 01:09 PM
Came across this little gem a few weeks back, it was near to a friends house in Texas. Bought and paid straight away and had my friend ship it over.

Not had chance to strip, bath, or even polish it yet, but on initial inspection I’m sure it’s going to come up real well.

1983 Kuwahara Nova frame and forks
Nitto bars
Win stem
‘Shroom grips
Shotgun II saddle
Generic post
Suntour broken arrow clamp
Ukai soeedline rims
Suntour hubs
Hatta headset
Hatta bottom bracket
Tech 3 lever
DC 890 calliper
Kkt pedals
Unknown opc
Sugino spider
Unknown chainring
Reissue kuwahara padset.

Needs a good clean and a few parts changing over, but all in all a good base I reckon.

Very little indeed by the look of it. I’ve had a few of these now and this one’s been by far the best one so far. Just a shame the IRCs were missing

That's nice and in great shape for a survivor, good pickup.  I've always loved the Laserlite; they were a cracking bike to ride  :daumenhoch:

Love the Laserlite although have owned one, but if they’re anything like it’s cousin the Aero Pro to ride then I’m sure they’ll ride fantastic!
