Title: STICKY PADS AD990?
Post by: deeman on October 01, 2018, 01:07 PM
Been looking at options for clear sticky pads for AD990 cantilevers and it seems there are no options!! i want to use an AD990 with a mag wheel, will the normal pads work o.k? Does anyone have any recommendations?

That's a bugger then.....
Had good results with the Kool stop range, don't think they do clear or Teal mate..

Is there any reason you can’t just put clear pads in the AD990.
Is there a big difference between the diameter of a threaded pad and a normal AD990 pad?
Does that make sense?
I did start to look into this as I want to put a grey tuff on the front of my AOD. But luckily I found some grey Kool stops for the AD990

I would go for kool stops in white Deeman,or you could use some normal 'threaded 'pads in the ad as the posts would be gripped in the eyebolt fine-have done this several times with no issues  :daumenhoch:
