Title: Thanks for the ad

Hi all,

New here. I used to ride back in the 80's. Did a little racing but prefered freestyle. Owned a Mongoose, an MCS Spider, a Robinson, a 1983 Haro and a Hutch Trickstar. Hanging around on Facebook and forums like this one has gotten me thinking I would like to buy/build a bike. Preferably a Haro. Just browsing for now, doing some homework on what stuf costs and just trying to figure out if I want something OG or if I will settle for a reissue. Seeing some great stuff on here allready.  fistblump

 :welcome to RAD....
As said before, you can buy a genuine 80's Haro Sport or Master for the same money. the re- issue stuff has weirdly kept prices down. There was/ is a lovely Torker made gen 2 Master frameset in chrome for £550. A couple of years back it would have been more like £800. I sold a OG Blue 85 Sport frameset for £325 recently and a raw unpainted 85 went for £275. A re-issue is neverthe same. some say they are heavier than the original... :daumenhoch:
