Does anyone know how to date these further than just the year.
4L0177(baseball symbol)
As I understand the first number counts for the year. So this would be an '84
Also, anything else that can be determined from these numbers ? Production numbers etc.
cheers
Owen

Yeah 4 = 1984.. L = december.. 0177 is batch number

Neither...
< One of them. Team Aero Pro. The only one within the community to be stamped this way. The others have the tange stamp on the bottom bracket. Trying to make some sense of the whole thing.
Thanks for your help mate. :)

This is an unanswered post on the same topic.
To my suprise my aero pro didn't have the usual tange stamp on the bottom bracket
Well, today a removed the rear wheel to give a good clean around the rear dropouts and I found a serial number... WTF ???
This situated on the left hand side, on the inside of the dropout.
It reads: 4 L 0 1 7 7 (symbol)

I've been told the baseball symbol is connected with kozumi, the makers of the mk I Pro Burner and cromo. I posted about this earlier today on the burner forum so if you want to read more go here http://www.raleighburner.com/phpBB2/viewtopic.php't=4618
This is the only Aero Pro so far within the community, to have this stamp and in this place. Anyone here know why this may be ?
