I have the clamp in the top photo. It came on my '82 PK Ripper and is original to it. 100%.

The second one in the pic , I bought one in 84 for my Rebel if that helps.

Thank you, that would make sense. It looks like a slightly updated version with the slot shape too. Your dating backs that up. 👍🏼
