Title: Decal adhesive from hell
Post by: Clean on March 16, 2019, 02:28 PM: So, I’m building again! :2funny:

I have come across some decal adhesive residue the likes of which Beelzebub himself would be proud of having shat. :-\

So, I have tried Nail Varnish Remover with no success.

I have emptied a 50 ml bottle of industrial Acetone, with slightly more success, but at a rate that will require several hours and a litre of the fooking stuff if I am to strip the frame clean.

So, RADsters, can you please help? The winning tip will receive a Wank Sock. :daumenhoch:

Post by: MrD on March 18, 2019, 08:45 PM: Oil works well as a dissolver of stickeyness - rub cooking oil on and let it soak, this is why WD40/penetration oil (not that type ;))works.

Finish with Meths or my favourite IPA (no not that type either)

Can I have a left sock?

Yeah and I use aftershave for adhesive remover ;)
