Title: 3x or 4x lacing
Post by: Avro on March 10, 2020, 08:33 PM
I am in the process of rebuilding a set of wheels for a build. The wheels had pair or high flange hubs laced to 36 hole Ukai box rims in a 4x pattern. I am lacing the rims to low flange hubs. I would like to try 4x but worry about the conjestion at the hub, particularly with the low flange hubs. I have always laced 3x but keen to try 4x. Anyone laced low flange and 4x?

Give it a go  :daumenhoch: I laced a pair of Ukai 20x1 3/8 to low flange sealed Suzue hubs in 4 cross pattern. Turned out fine with no issues, got to get them properly trued now  :LolLolLolLol:
